but its quite impressive i wonder what made them go down the road of taking the hottest thing and making the coldest thing? crazy who knows one day this might be scaled up to replenish the polar ice caps.

Not alot needs to be said about this water feature. Its a just a beautiful manipulation of water and gravity. check out the dolphins close to the beginning of the video.
Swarm spheres

I am getting quite excited about getting hold of some Zigbee wireless technology. The hype seems to suggest zigbee and arduinio are highly compatible. This should make custom wireless interactivity relatively simple.

A new web service has been launched allowing us poor students the chance to play with rapid prototyping. Anyone from designer to hobbyist can use this service. All you do is design a 3d model email it to shapewways.com and they build it using 3d printers and then send it back to you. Amazing!
